Consultation Fees
Effective From January 2023, Mina Medical Clinic transitioned to a Private Billing clinic, with
the usual Medicare rebates applicable. (bulk billing is at the discretion of the practice)

This list is a guide only.

Additional treatments have separate fees with details available at reception. Our fees are
based on the relative value study, increased costs, and CPI increases.
Payment on the day is required:
Cash, Eftpos, Visa, Mastercard, AMEX accepted.

DRESSING FEES
Standard dressings fee is $10
This is subject to change depending on size and type of dressing required.

Description of fees for consultation visits:

SATURDAY
When open on a Saturday the standard fee is $98.00

MEDICAL STUDENTS
Our Practice is now participating in the future of General Practice with the education of the
next generation of doctors. Occasionally we will have medical student on rotation with us.
You will be notified at Reception with signage who the student is, and which doctor they will
be working with. The doctor will always seek your permission for them to be present prior to
your consultation beginning. There is no obligation to have the student present at the time of
your consultation.

Our team here at Mina Medical are committed to continuing to provide our patients with quality care in a safe environment. If you are suffering from any respiratory / flu-like symptoms of:

• Cough
• Sore throat
• Fever
• Fatigue
• Shortness of breath

Please PHONE the practice on 3398 4552 to allow us to plan to see you safely.

Our receptionist team or RN’s will ask you some questions and arrange a telephone consultation with one of the Doctors. If you then require a face-to-face consultation, the Doctor will advise and inform reception staff accordingly.

If you have any of the above mentioned symptoms, please do not arrive at the practice unannounced.

Telehealth/Telephone Consults are still available at the surgery. They will not be automatically bulk billed and the receptionist will advise of fees when booking the appointment. Normal fees will apply with the appropriate Medicare rebate applicable where eligible. Please be prepared with your card details to pay after the consultation.

With the continuation of Telehealth services patients who have been seen in the clinic “within the previous 12 months” are able to elect for a telehealth if deemed appropriate, and will be eligible for a Medicare rebate as usual, otherwise if not seen within the previous 12mths and telehealth is required, it will be a private fee charged with no rebate.

WEARING OF MASKS

Masks are kindly asked to be worn if you have cold or flu-like symptoms & have been asked to attend the clinic by a GP or Practice Staff, or if requested by the Doctor.

SKIN CLINIC

Book today for your Full Skin Check with our specialist GP’s – Dr Eunice Woo who works every Tuesday or Dr Roshan Bhushal who works every Friday at the clinic. Early detection is the key to optimise patient’s outcome.

Skin Checks are only $175 (1/2 hour appt) with a medicare rebate of $82.90. A worthwhile investment in early skin cancer detection.
